OpticompBharat ("we", "our", "us") is an automated Indian labour law compliance and payroll platform operated by OpticompBharat Technologies Pvt. Ltd., India. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.
2. What Data We Collect
- Account data: Name, email address, company name, and phone number provided during sign-up or the lead form.
- Employee data: Names, PAN, Aadhaar (masked), bank details, salary, and other HR data entered by your company for payroll and compliance processing.
- Usage data: Log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and feature interactions collected automatically.
- Payment data: Billing information processed securely through our payment provider; we do not store card details.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and operate the OpticompBharat platform and its compliance features.
- To compute statutory deductions (EPF, ESI, PT, TDS, LWF, etc.) and generate compliant payroll outputs.
- To send transactional emails — account verification, compliance deadline reminders, and payroll notifications.
- To improve platform features and diagnose technical issues.
- To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulatory obligations.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting and database services (Supabase / AWS) under strict data processing agreements.
- Payment processors: To handle subscription billing securely.
- Government portals: Only the statutory data required for filings you initiate (e.g. ECR uploads to EPFO).
- Legal requirement: Where required by Indian law, court order, or regulatory authority.
5. Data Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorised personnel. We conduct periodic security reviews. While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% immune to breaches; we will notify affected users promptly in the event of a confirmed incident.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and employee data for as long as your subscription is active and for up to 7 years thereafter to satisfy Indian statutory record-keeping obligations (Factories Act, Payment of Wages Act, EPF Act, etc.). You may request deletion of non-statutory data by contacting us.
7. Your Rights
Under applicable Indian data protection law you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at sales@opticomp-bharat.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication sessions and preference storage. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
